Early Sunday morning our website was compromised by a members of the Lulz Divison of Clan [aC]. As a precaution, I moved the site to a different hosting account; we are back on the original account now. I have verified that nothing was tampered with and aC (CeLe) was very helpful and reasonable in restoring my access to the hosting account. Apologies for the downtime, and remember please show respect and consideration to Lulz members of aC to avoid problems.
We do not store passwords in clear text anywhere in the site's MySQL databases, but if you want to be on the safe side, change your password and that of any accounts using the same password. (It's never a bad thing to do anyways!)
Please reply in this topic if you have any questions.
From the staff here at StealthBot.net, we hope you had a safe and enjoyable holiday!
For kicks, here is some exciting news: We have officially begun testing Release Candidate 1 for StealthBot version 2.7! If all goes well, hopefully we will have a release of the new bot within the next few months. Sit tight! Progress is being made!
